World Feeder Hybrid Bermuda Grass
|
World
Feeder Hybrid Bermuda Grass is a Permanent, capital improvement
on your land. With proper fertility and management, World Feeder
Bermuda Grass will give these exciting benefits:
• 18-22% Protein (or more)
• 64-74% TDN (Total Digestible Nutrients)
• 28-31% ADF (Acid Detergent Fiber)
This could eliminate the need for high-priced protein supplements
and up to 30% or more of your grain cost! World feeder Hybrid
Bermuda Grass’ consistently high levels of sugar/carbohydrate
content is comparable to sweet clover, and it remains tender,
palatable and easily digestible under stress conditions that turn
other grasses coarse and stemmy. Amazing
Grazing! Once you get your World Feeder hay meadow established,
you may not need to buy hay again. World Feeder also supports
intensive grazing. Typically, you can run 2-3 times more cattle
per acre. And, due to its rapid growth, our experience has been
that the hay can be re-cut every 28-32 days. And with its quick
drying time, your baling in about 48 hours. Many growers are
reporting 3-6 tons of high quality grass hay per acre per cutting,
giving you not only an amazing, forage crop but a cash crop
ideal for horses, cattle, and all other types of livestock.
One of the most exciting
trends in the entire agricultural industry right now is the
move toward grass-fed beef. The health benefits of naturally
produced beef have been clearly demonstrated, especially when
compared to the questionable health issue of confinement based,
grain-fed beef.
Amazing Attributes - World Feeder thrives in an amazing varieties
of soils. World Feeder is the only halophyte forage crop in
the world. Which means it is extremely salt tolerant and will
produce in soil that ranges from 18,000-50,000ppm salt: salinity
levels deadly to any other forage crop.
World Feeder is also very deep-rooted, roots go as deep as 6-8
feet, making it highly drought resistant and cold tolerant.
Thriving in the heat of the desert to the cold winds of Nebraska
with no winter kill. Those fortunate to have sufficient sub-moisture
are able to shut off their irrigation systems all together!
Even in its dormant state, World Feeder still retains an 8-10%
protein level. We kept a herd of 18 horses, 5 of which were
pregnant mares, on 23 acres from October 2004 until May 2005
and they didn’t even come close to eating it all. Best
of all there was no need to supplemental feed. Each mare bore
a healthy foal and stayed in healthy flesh.
